The number of COVID-19 cases across the Upper Cumberland increased to 113 Tuesday in the latest report from the Tennessee Department Of Health.
No deaths reported in our listening area, but statewide the toll grew to 72 Tuesday. Shelby and Sumner Counties each report 15 deaths.
The number of Putnam County cases increased to 57 with 32 in Cumberland County. Dekalb County reports seven. Overton County reports four cases. Both Jackson and Smith County report three cases. Fentress, Warren and White each have two cases. One case remains the official number from Clay County.
More than 52,000 tests have been conducted statewide with 4,138 positive cases reported.
