The deadline to contribute to the Cookeville Putnam County Tornado Relief Fund will be June 15.
Cookeville Mayor Ricky Shelton said a second disbursement with any remaining funds will be made to tornado victims soon after June 15. Some $2 million in checks were distributed two weeks ago to victims of the tornado along the Highway 70 corridor.
Shelton said the committee setup by he and County Mayor Randy Porter said will reconvene to look at additional funds and additional requests.
The mayors setup the fund in the days after the March 3 tornado to directly assist residents.
