Members of The Stephens Center discuss parenting Today In The Upper Cumberland.
The challenges of being a modern day parent – the problems seem bigger, the pressure is greater, and the outside scrutiny is more intense. And maybe parents individually are driving themselves more than ever to be successful at one of the toughest jobs on Earth. As a new decade approaches, we continue our examination of modern parenting with local experts from The Stephens Center. Everyday in their efforts to prevent child abuse, they work with parents and see the stresses that are out there with kids. Dawn Raines is Executive Director of The Stephens Center. Lisa McAfee and Carla Thompson work one on one with parents.
