THP Increases Cookeville Patrols This Week

There’s a few more troopers throughout the Cookeville District this week.

THP Captain R.C. Christian said the Highway Patrol is doing special enforcement throughout the Cookeville District this week. That includes Putnam and surrounding counties.

Christian said the Cookeville District has the greatest increase of traffic fatalities so far this year.

Troopers are doing some special enforcement to try to keep the roads safer.
