Tennessee Tech University’s head softball coach Bonnie Graham has stepped down from her position.
TTU released a statement Thursday saying Graham accepted a position with Cookeville’s Leisure Services department.
Graham said the move will allow her to spend more time with family.
“Unfortunately, anyone who works in athletics knows you don’t get a lot of free time or weekends away,” Graham said. “It was definitely a hard decision, but it’s one that I think will have a better impact on my family and work/life balance.”
Graham had led the Golden Eagles softball program since 2013 and compiled a 153-213 overall record in seven seasons.
Assistant coach Carly Van Auken will serve as the team’s interim coach until the new head coach is selected.
