Tennessee Tech Waives Application Fee For Month Of September

Tennessee Tech waiving admission application fees for the month of September.

Interim Director of Admissions Frank Tittle said this comes as part of an ongoing effort to remove barriers for prospective students.

“We have high school counselors that call all the time that ask if we have a program that lets students apply for free,” Tittle said. “So we do notice quite a bit of influx when we get the word out and remove that barrier so to speak.”

Tittle said the application process is simple. All you have to do is create an account that asks for name and email address, fill out the application, and the site automatically takes off the fee.

Tittle said they want to make sure that all students who want it to have the opportunity to throw their hat in the ring for a chance at higher education.

“We are excited to offer this opportunity,” Tittle said. “September is ‘Tennessee College Application and Exploration Month,’ that is supported and promoted by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission’s Path to College series of events.”
