Monterey Sidewalk Project Begins In July

The city of Monterey completed the next step in connecting its city assets with walking trials and sidewalk. Stubbs Construction of Crossville won the bid to construct sidewalks to provide safe walkways for students of Burks Elementary and Monterey High School. Putnam County COVID Cases Top 200

Putnam County’s number of positive COVID-19 tests reached 204 Thursday, according to the Tennessee Department Of Health. That equates to .25 percent of the county’s population. Statewide, 16,699 people have tested positive.
