District Attorney Bryant Dunaway, the TBI and the Comptroller’s Office are investigating the disappearance of money from the Livingston Police Department. Dekalb Co Man Arrested On Rape Of Child

A Dekalb County man arrested Thursday on charges he raped a child. 45-year old David Wayne Nichols faces two counts of rape of a child, one count of aggravated sexual battery. Trousdale Man Arrested In Jackson Co On Murder Charges

A Trousdale County man faces criminal homicide charges and attempted first degree murder charges after being arrested in Jackson County Monday night. 53-year-old Todd Lee Freeman allegedly attacked three people at a Trousdale County home on Riverview Estates Lane. Overton Exploring Grants For Drug Enforcement, Deputy Safety

The Overton County Sheriff’s Department is applying for six grants to help with community and deputy safety. Sheriff John Garrett said he hopes to add five to seven bulletproof vests. Cummins Falls Hiker Not Located After Two Weeks

A man who went missing at Cummins Falls State Park has not been located after more than two weeks of searching. Robert James Qucsai III entered the park February 3, and was reported missing after his vehicle was found abandoned. A more than three-day search of Cummins Falls State Park has led TDEC officials to believe the missing person is no longer on park property. The TBI investigating an officer-involved shooting Friday afternoon in Sparta. According to the TBI, White County Sheriffs Deputies were serving arrest warrants to 47-year-old Charles Edward Williams around 2pm Saturday.
