The speed limit along Putnam County’s Highway 70 will return to 45 mph beginning Monday. The Crossville City Council approved $1.4 million in contracts with T-DOT for the Highway 127 widening project. The contracts will begin the process of water and sewer easement acquisitions and relocations from Interstate 40 north to Potato Farm Road.
