Ten percent of city of Sparta employees are currently quarantined from COVID exposures. Roof repairs for Sparta’s Senior Center are on the way after receiving storm damage last month. The Board of Alderman unanimously approved the $19,900 bid Thursday. White Co COVID Testing Back To Health Department

White County will be moving COVID testing back to the health department beginning next week from the Agriculture Building at the Sparta Fairgrounds. No appointment is needed to get tested and testing is available from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Friends of Virgin Falls Planning Fundraising Push for Land

The Friends of Virgin Falls are raising money to purchase two tracts of land north of Sparta’s Dog Cove.
