September Sales Tax Numbers Up Across Putnam County

September sales tax receipts grew by 12.7 percent across Putnam County over this same time last year. Some $4.9 million dollars collected compared to $4.3 million. Putnam Building Numbers Rise In September, Largest Month Since March

September was a big month for building construction in Putnam county with 49 permits for $8.2 million. Overton Carr Creek Bridge Breaks Ground Tuesday

Overton County’s Carr Creek Bridge project will break ground Tuesday. The new federally funded concrete bridge will stretch 220 feet with an expected April completion date.
