Putnam Sales Tax Revenue Ends Fiscal Year Up 11 Percent

Putnam County saw an 11.6 percent increase in sales tax revenue for the 2021-22 fiscal year. Some $44 million dollars compared to $39 million last fiscal year. Putnam August Sales Tax Revenue Up 12 Percent Compared To 2020

August sales tax revenue in Putnam County came in Tuesday 12 percent over the same month last year. The County saw the highest increase by about 23 percent. Algood followed with a growth of 18.5 percent, Baxter 15 percent and Cookeville 10.5 percent. Monterey’s revenue decreased by 3.9 percent.
