A stranded vehicle on a flooded Willow Avenue caused a water rescue by local fire crews Thursday morning. For the second time this week, a rope rescue was required to save a person that jumped from a Fall Creek Falls waterfall. This time a 17-year-old boy attempted an 85-foot jump off of Cane Creek Falls. Three Cookeville men were rescued west of Bayport, Florida Thursday after their boat capsized in the Gulf. Mark LaRoche, Kevin LaRoche and Karim Odeh radioed the Coast Guard Thursday afternoon their boat had begun taking on water north of St Petersburg.
