American Chestnut trees from Monterey’s Meadow Creek Park are being used in a project to breed a blight resistant species. Monterey PD Searching For Suspect After Stolen Vehicle Chase

The Monterey Police Department seeking public assistance after a suspect escaped during a vehicle pursuit Tuesday morning. Sales Tax Up Over 18 Percent In Putnam April Revenue Report

Sales tax collected across Putnam County in the month of February was up 18.1 percent compared to the same month last year. The county saw the largest increase with 26.4 percent.
