Overton County is experiencing downed limbs, power lines and outages on a countywide level. The Livingston Police Department has purchased 10 new bulletproof vests for patrol officers. Livingston Considering Water Leak Relief Service

Livingston’s Board of Aldermen are considering an optional third-party leak adjustment program for water customers. Overton County Positive COVID Rate Decreasing

The Overton County Health Department is seeing a decrease in positive COVID cases over the last two weeks. Director Andy Langford said the county has dropped from 18.2 cases per day to 6.7 new cases. Falling COVID numbers has led to an easing of visitor policy restrictions at Livingston Regional Hospital.
