The Sparta Electric Department is nearing the completion of a project to install brighter LED streetlights on Bockman Way. Baxter Changing Regulations On Subdivision Lighting

Changes in Baxter regulations will require subdivision developers to install their own streetlights, releasing the city from that responsibility. Van Buren Schools Awarded $400K Grant Providing Energy Upgrades  

The Van Buren County School System has been awarded a $400,000 TVA Uplift Grant and Solar Pavilion.
