Gainesboro Aldermen voted Thursday night to approve a two-percent increase to water rates. Gainesboro Mayor Lloyd Williams said the Tennessee State Comptroller approached the town and warned that it was losing money every year on its water rates. Gainesboro Approves Stormwater Management Contract With TTU

Gainesboro Aldermen agreed to enter into a contract with Tennessee Tech Thursday night for the development of a new stormwater management plan. The project will be paid for by a new $500,000 overflow stormwater grant from the TDEC.
