Putnam County Jail Open For Limited Visitation

Beginning July 6th, the Putnam County Jail will re-open visitations by appointment only. Visitations will be limited to two people per inmate. Appointments can be scheduled from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Each scheduled session will last 30 minutes. Same-Day Covid Testing Available For Emergencies At Livingston Regional

Livingston Regional Hospital is now conducting same-day Covid testing. For now, the testing is reserved for emergency patients and surgeries. Numbers Suggest Covid Baby Boom

A local OBGYN has seen pregnancies almost double during the Covid stay at home order. OBGYN Namaste of McMinnville reported 61 pregnancies from May to June this year. The number of Upper Cumberland COVID-19 cases stands at 571 as of Monday’s reporting from the Tennessee Department of Health. That’s about 0.16 percent of the region’s population.
