$14 Million In Funding For UC Cities And Counties

Governor Bill Lee’s plan to get money into the hands of county and city governments statewide will mean about $14 million for Upper Cumberland cities and counties. Stephens Street Power Lines To Be Buried

The Cookeville City Council approved an agreement Thursday to bury power lines adjacent to Stephens Street Baptist Church. The church will pay the city $16,000 and deed land to the city for future road improvements.
