Millard Oakley Library Eyeing Multiple Upgrades Through Grant

The Millard Oakley Public Library has mutliple opportunities for improving services with federal funding. Director Cynthia Julian-Simmons said the library has applied for an up to $25,000 American Rescue Plan Tech grant. Julian-Simmons said new computers, eBooks, and furniture are all possibilities. Twin Lakes Fullfills 15 Grants Around Upper Cumberland

Twin Lakes has decided to fund 15 community grants in the Upper Cumberland to try and assist with issues the pandemic has created. Marketing and Sales Manager Lea Ann Gore said the board of directors made the decision to commit more than $70,000.
