Algood Updates Building Permit Extension Fees

City of Algood has updated its building permit code to change extension fees. Building Inspector Bob Lane said the permits have a six-month life. Algood City Council approved a bid at some $142,923 for their 2021 street paving projects. The Tinsley Asphalt LLC. group ranked lowest out of three companies who bid on the project. The City of Algood’s water and sewer rates increased to begin the new fiscal year. A nine percent increase went into effect July 1.
