Roof repairs for Sparta’s Senior Center are on the way after receiving storm damage last month. The Board of Alderman unanimously approved the $19,900 bid Thursday. Gainesboro Applying For Grant To Highway 56 Turn Signal

Sparta Increases Pay For Some Employees

The Sparta Board of Alderman has expressed interest in bringing new electric vehicle charging stations to its city. The Sparta Board of Alderman Thursday approved the $33,000 purchase of a new Police Pursuit vehicle for the police department.
