Two men were arrested for aggravated robbery at the Cookeville Super 8 Motel Wednesday. According to the Cookeville Police Department, three males at approximately 4:00 p.m. robbed a guest at gunpoint. Drugs and money were taken before fleeing the scene. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Sparta man Sunday for stabbing a Cookeville man Saturday night. The aggravated assault occurred in Cookeville on South Maple Avenue during a physical altercation between the 35-year-old victim and 23-year-old Timothy Seth Daniels. A suspect in a Cumberland County murder was arrested Monday in Georgia. Thirty-eight-year-old Thomas Mack Arnold, Sr. was charged with first degree murder of 63-year-old Billy Ray Jones.
