The Tennessee Central Rail Trail Authority is proposing two expansions of its Putnam County trail system. Two segments are being recommended. A speeding stop led Algood Police to the arrest of a local man on at least seven charges. Police tried to stop Bobby Harville after his motorcycle was observed traveling at a high rate of speed on Wall Street.
