Algood Farmers’ Market Facility Opening Thursday

The Algood Farmers’ Market building is complete and set to open on Thursday. City Administrator Keith Morrison said residents and vendors are excited to have a dedicated facility now. Tennessee Central Rail Trail Proposing Two Expansions

The Tennessee Central Rail Trail Authority is proposing two expansions of its Putnam County trail system. Two segments are being recommended. Algood Speeding Stop Leads To Drug Arrest

A speeding stop led Algood Police to the arrest of a local man on at least seven charges. Police tried to stop Bobby Harville after his motorcycle was observed traveling at a high rate of speed on Wall Street.
