Suspicious Package All-Clear on Whiteaker Springs

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office has issued an all-clear for a suspicious package located at a residence on Whiteaker Springs Road.

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office issued an “all-clear” for a suspicious package.

According to a press release, the Sheriff’s Office and Tennessee Highway Patrol investigated the package at approximately 7:30 AM Thursday.

Deputies deployed canine detection units at the scene.  The department confirmed there is no immediate danger to the residence or surrounding areas.

The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
