Week 3 brings the start of many regional matchups for the area Upper Cumberland teams and with that, the direction of their playoff hopes will be determined.
Warren County visits Cookeville in Region 3 6A play. The Pioneers and Cavs both hold a 1-1 record and look to make a move in a highly competitive region with some Rutherford County powerhouses.
Livingston Academy visits Cumberland County. Livingston looks to rebound from a loss against Cookeville while the Jets look to get their first win of the season in Crossville.
Meanwhile in Baxter, the Upperman Bees takes their 2-0 record to Smith County to face off with the Owls. Smith County lost to rival Gordonsville last week and look to get into the win column tonight.
Monterey travels to face Jo Byrns tonight in a regional game coming off a tough loss to Midway.
White County comes off a heartbreaking loss in the home opener and travels to Spring Hill to face Summit High School to get their first win of the season.
Last week, Gordonsville won their rivalry game with Smith County on the road and they stay on the road when they travel to face Red Boiling Springs tonight in regional action.
Dekalb Co will be wanting to get behind their loss last week to Upperman when they face the Panthers of Stone Memorial tonight in Crossville.

Pickett and Macon County have bye weeks this week and will be back on the gridiron next Friday.
