Putnam Man Accused Of Threatening Mother With Pellet Gun

A Bloomington Springs man faces charges for allegedly threatening his mother with a pellet gun.

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office charged 22-year-old Christopher Allen Masters with aggravated assault and public intoxication. He remained behind bars Friday morning on $25,248 bond.

Masters allegedly confronted his mother on Thursday at a location on Gainesboro Grade. An arrest report said he pointed a pellet gun at the victim and threatened to blow her head off.

The report also accused Masters of attacking a neighbor who witnessed the incident.

Deputies arrested Masters and transported him to the Putnam County Jail.
