Plans for a 10 lot subdivision on Window Cliff Road and Baxter Road have hit a small snag.
The Putnam County Regional Planning Commission voted Tuesday to defer action on a preliminary plat for the project. The group did not want to approve the plat until seeing a topographic map of the land.
The commission’s policy states that plats over five lots must include topographic maps. Commissioners agreed that having the maps will help determine if the development will impact an adjacent pond.
“If our policy says to have a topo for five lots, we should follow the policy and be fair to everybody,” Commissioner David Mattson said.
The commission will take up the plat for consideration when they meet on March 3.
