Overton School Board Member Sadler To Be Remembered

Overton County School Board Member Dr. Diane Sadler will be laid to rest today in Gainesboro following services at Livingston’s Central Park.

Sadler passed away Friday following a brief illness. She was 68.

A graduate of Livingston Academy, Sadler served the educational needs of her community throughout her life. She earned three degrees from Tennessee Tech and served the university as an adjunct professor.

Following her retirement, Sadler pursued a seat on the school board serving district one.

Services Wednesday begin at 2pm. Internment will follow in Gainesboro’s Draper Memorial Cemetery.
