A convicted sex offender has violated an order of protection for the second time since October.
The Monterey Police Department arrested Dylan Christopher Osterhoudt on Elmore Street Wednesday. Deputies came in contact with the 26-year-old after responding to reports of a male manhandling a woman.
A records check revealed a 2016 order of protection that prevents Osterhoudt from contacting the victim. According to an arrest warrant, Osterhoudt admitted to camping near the protected person’s residence.
Officer Larry Bates charged Osterhoudt with violating the order of protection and transported him to the Putnam County Jail. Sheriff’s deputies arrested Osterhoudt for the same offense in October 2018.
Osterhoudt has not yet posted his $5,000 bond.
