A two-vehicle crash in Cumberland County killed an 85-year-old man from Crossville Wednesday.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the deceased as Thomas Beadle.
A THP crash report said 48-year-old Carlos Eldridge of Sparta was traveling South on Lantana Road when he failed to maintain lane of travel. The report said his Ford Escape crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Jeep Cherokee.
Beadle was a passenger in the Cherokee. The driver of that vehicle, 56-year-old Kenneth Rasor of Crossville, suffered injuries.
Eldridge also suffered injuries during the crash. Officials said charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
