A Monterey man has posted $25,000 bond following his Monday morning drug arrest.
The Algood Police Department charged Travis Ray Greer with possession of a controlled substance. A search of his vehicle yielded 13-grams of a white powder that tested positive for cocaine.
An arrest warrant said officers came in contact with Greer after conducting a traffic stop for improper display of a tag. The report said Greer gave officers permission to search the vehicle.
Officers also found several empty baggies and $840 in U.S. currency that was mostly in 20’s and 100 dollar denominations.
Greer will make his first court appearance on December 16.
