Putnam County Authorities arrested a felony fugitive from Mississippi Wednesday.
Tennessee Highway Patrol charged 19-year-old Morgan Blakney with criminal impersonation after giving a false name to avoid active warrants out of Tuscaloosa County, Mississippi.
Tuscaloosa County filed warrants for Blackney for the offense of malicious mischief and escape, which is a felony.
Authorities also charged Blakney with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession.
Arrest warrants indicate that officials made contact with Blakney during a traffic stop.
Authorities identified the passenger of the vehicle as 23-year-old Katlin Deran McDuffy.
McDuffy faces charges of methamphetamine, the introduction of contraband into a penal facility, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with evidence, and accessory after the fact.
During a probable cause search, authorities found a glass pipe and a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.
The search also revealed McDuffy possessed 1.5 ounces of marijuana and approximately 1 gram of a crystal substance believed to be meth. McDuffy attempted to conceal the substances in her bra.
Authorities booked McDuffy and Blackney in the Putnam County Jail. McDuffy posted the $17,500. Putnam County will hold Blakney until Tuscaloosa County extradites.
