Missing New Jersey Toddler Found In Monterey, Mother Remains Missing

A missing two-year-old from New Jersey was found in Monterey Saturday.

Officials issued an amber alert for Sebastian Rios Friday after the child did not report to daycare. The mother, 24-year-old Yasmine Uyar, also did not show up for work on the same day.

The father, 27-year-old Tyler Rios, was identified as the main suspect for both alleged abductions. Rios was found with the child and arrested in Monterey Saturday.

However, Uyar remains missing. Tyler Rios remains in custody in Tennessee pending extradition back to New Jersey and the filing of criminal charges.
