Man Arrested After High Speed Chase In Putnam County

An Antioch man faces charges for a high speed chase in Putnam County Saturday.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol arrested Ryan Rothholz for reckless endangerment and evading arrest. He has not yet posted his $20,000 bond.

THP officials said the pursuit began at eastbound mile marker 273 when a a State Trooper clocked Rothholz driving 95 mph. Rothholz refused orders to stop the vehicle and eventually got off at the 286 Exit and headed South.

A report said State Troopers apprehended the subject after his vehicle drove across spike strips on Cookeville Boat Dock Road.
