Livingston City Council has voted to rezone property at the intersection of Preston Street and Bradford Hicks Drive
Mayor Curtis Hayes said rezoning the property helps a potential economic development announcement move forward.
“By rezoning this, we would be a step closer to landing a plant that is seriously taking a look at Livingston,” Mayor Curtis Hayes said. “This has been approved by the Livingston Planning Commission during last months meeting.”
The council’s unanimous vote on Monday officially rezones the property from commercial to industrial. Hayes did not provide any specific details about the potential plant during the meeting.
