Jackson Co. Man Arrested On Child Abuse, Domestic Assault Charge

A grand jury has indicted a Jackson County man on charges of child abuse, sexual battery by an authority figure, and domestic assault.

The charges stem from a TBI investigation against 55-year-old John Stanley Reece.

A press release said agents began investigating after receiving complaints of child physical and sexual abuse. Agents developed information that indicated the victim was in Reece’s care.

Reece has left the Jackson County Jail after posting $25,000 bond.
