The TBI and the Cumberland County Sheriffs Department investigating the shooting of a Crossville woman inside her Brown Road home.
53-year old Terri Loretta Pinton discovered Tuesday night after deputies were called to a shooting. They discovered Pinton with a gunshot wound. She died at Cumberland Medical Center from her injuries.
The incident happed just after 11pm.
The two agencies are continuing to gather information on the shooting. No arrests have been made. Pitton’s body was sent to the state medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.
