Inmate Captured After Leaving Work Crew

Jackson County deputies have arrested a man who ran away from his inmate work crew last Wednesday.

Sheriff Marti Hinson said Sunday that deputies arrested Travis Patterson on Friday at a camper in the North Springs area of the county. Hinson said Patterson was found with Jamie Christensen, who is now facing a charge of criminal conspiracy.

Patterson had been serving a four-year sentence in Jackson County for a drug case out of DeKalb County.
