Discount home furnishing store HomeGoods will open its new Cookeville location Sunday.
The store’s opening will come after several months of renovation work at the former Sears’ building at Jackson Plaza.
HomeGoods will occupy approximately 20,000 square feet of the building. The other 55,000 square feet of space is currently occupied by Hobby Lobby following their move in May.
Jackson Plaza was purchased in 2018 by Rise Partners in Chattanooga. Construction on the former Sears location began last winter to split the storefront into two separate entities.
