Gov. Lee Reappoints Three To TTU Board of Trustees

Governor Bill Lee has reappointed three people to the Tennessee Tech Board of Trustees.

Rhedona Rose, Johnny Stites, and Teresa Vanhooser will serve six-year terms after being reappointed last month.

Stites and Vanhooser have served on the board since its creation in 2016. Rose became a member of the board of trustees in 2018 after Millard Oakley retired from the board.

According to Tennessee Tech’s trustee profiles, Stites has served as a managing partner for XI Investments in the Upper Cumberland for over 25 years.

Vanhooser, a 1980 graduate of TTU, served as deputy director of the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama from 2012-2015 before becoming a senior consultant with Seabrook Solutions, LLC.

Rose graduated from TTU in 1984 and currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer and Executive Vice President of the Tennessee Farm Bureau.

The board’s next meeting will take place Sept. 24.
