Four Inmates Charged In Jail Assault

Four Putnam County inmates face charges for a jail assault that allegedly occurred last week.

The Sheriff’s Office charged Cory Dale Gamble, John Cody Brown, Cameron Blake Wilmoth, and Spencer Jordan Wiest with aggravated assault.

A police report said the inmates struck the victim about the body, causing serious bodily injuries. The victim received medical attention at the hospital following the attack.
