A man indicted for soliciting sex from a minor in DeKalb County will reappear in court in November.
40-year-old Jason Dwayne Johnson was arraigned in DeKalb County Criminal Court Monday morning.
Criminal Court Judge Wesley Bray scheduled Johnson’s next hearing for Tuesday, Nov. 5.
A grand jury indicted Johnson last month on one count of sexual exploitation of a minor.
DeKalb County Sheriff Patrick Ray reports the alleged incident occurred between April 2017 and November 2017. Indictment records indicate Johnson used electronic communication to request a female under 18 years of age to engage in conduct that would constitute a violation of statutory rape.
