A new ATV park set to open in the Livingston area this fall.
Cub Mountain ATV Park will be home to 30 miles of ATV trails, 20 RV hookups, concession areas, and more. Owner Jason Cantrell said the property totals some 1,900 acres.
“I know this park will really suit that area well. It’s an old mining community, and so there will be a lot to people to see scenic-wise,” Cantrell said. “It’s still got a lot of the old strip pits and it’s got the mountain overlook, the trees. I thought it would be something I would enjoy doing, so I thought other people might it enjoy it as well.”
Cantrell said one of his main goals with the park will be to have something family-friendly. He said it will be a place for people to come and enjoy the outdoors together, whether it’s walking the trails, fishing in a stocked three-acre pond, or riding the trails.
Cantrell said he’s heard a lot from folks excited to have such a place in the community. He said the park is set to host the American Motorcyclist Association’s Upper Cumberland Fall Classic in October and will be open for that event if not before.
