Crossville City Manager Gives Update on Tax-Collection Figures

Crossville City Manager Greg Wood presented his monthly sales tax-collection report at the City Council meeting Tuesday night. Overall, sales-tax revenues have been good, he reported.

Sales-tax revenues for September were down slightly from August, at $692,879.

Wholesale beer-tax income is off a little from projections, coming in at just over $64,000 for September. The year-to-date total is $199,794.

Liquor tax collections year to date stand at $80,642.

And the hotel-occupancy tax for August came in at $17,000.
