June Sales Tax Revenues Up 10% Over 2019

It appears Putnam County has weathered the feared sales tax downturn from COVID as June revenue numbers increased 10.3 percent over last year. Crossville City Manager Gives Update on Tax-Collection Figures

Crossville City Manager Greg Wood presented his monthly sales tax-collection report at the City Council meeting Tuesday night. Overall, sales-tax revenues have been good, he reported. Sales-tax revenues for September were down slightly from August, at $692,879. Wholesale beer-tax income is off a little from projections, coming in at just over $64,000 for September.
