The Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce is beginning their search for a new CEO.
A press release states that the position will require oversight of the chamber as well as the Highlands Economic Partnership, Leadership Putnam, and other programs.
The chamber requires applicants to have a bachelor’s degree and preferably seven or more years experience with economic development organizations.
The search follows the announcement of CEO George Halford’s retirement in February. Halford expects to retire in December after 47 years of service to the chamber.
The Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber will accept applications until Wednesday, July 31.
