Cookeville Murder Suspect Arraigned Monday

A Cookeville man has pleaded not guilty to charges accusing him of killing a woman earlier this year.

38-year-old Andrew Ray Price entered the plea during an arraignment hearing Monday. He’s charged with first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated assault, theft of property and domestic assault.

The charges stem from the fatal stabbing of Kelsey Lamb on May 22.

Price remains behind bars at the Putnam County Jail on $540,000 bond.
