A Cookeville man has landed behind bars for allegedly sharing child pornography on social media.
Cookeville Police charged Bryan K. Beyette with aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor.
Officers conducted a search warrant at beyette’s home last month as part of an investigation into a Facebook cybertip.
An arrest warrant said the 49-year-old admitted to being a member of a group that shared child porn to the social media platform. The report said officers located 13 videos and one image of child pornography in Beyette’s Facebook.
Authorities arrested Beyette New Year’s Eve. He remains behind bars on $500,000 bond with a court date scheduled for Monday.
