Cookeville Man Burglarizes Five Vehicles

Authorities arrested a Cookeville man after he allegedly stole property out of five different vehicles Monday.

Authorities arrested James Hinson for five counts of burglary.

Officials charged 32-year-old James Hinson with five counts of burglary.

Arrest warrants indicate that officers on patrol came across the vehicles at the Fall Creek Inn and Subway. During the investigation, officers located Hinson on foot in the area.

Authorities determined that Hinson possessed property from the vehicles in question.

Hinson admitted to entering the green Honda, white truck, silver Honda, silver Toyota, and white Mazda parked in the area.

Arrest warrants did not list what was taken from the vehicles.

Officers booked Hinson into the Putnam County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
